The Young and the Restless (sering disingkat sebagai Y&R, bahasa Indonesia: Yang Muda dan Yang Gelisah) adalah sinetron televisi Amerika yang dibuat oleh William J. Bell dan Lee Phillip Bell untuk CBS. Acara ini diatur dalam suatu kota fiksi Wisconsin yang disebut Genoa City, yang tidak seperti dan tidak berhubungan dengan kehidupan nyata desa dengan nama yang sama, Genoa City, Wisconsin.[1] Siaran pertama pada 26 Maret 1973, The Young and the Restless awalnya disiarkan sebagai episode setengah jam, lima kali seminggu.[2][3] Serial ini diperluas untuk satu jam episode pada 4 Februari 1980.[4] Pada tahun 2006, seri mulai ditayangkan ulang pada malam hari di SOAPnet[5] sampai tahun 2013, ketika Y&R pindah ke TVGN. TVGN masih menyiarkan episode ulang pada malam hari, mulai 1 Juli 2013.[6][7] Serial ini juga tersindikasi internasional.[8]
