Temiloluwa Elizabeth Otedola (listenⓘ; born 20 March 1996) has established herself as Nollywood’s rising star – and formerly as a TV presenter and fashion influencer. She has previously worked with top-tier international luxury brands, including Gucci, Bulgari, Estee Lauder and more.[2][3] In the last few years, she has made waves in the award-winning Netflix Original ‘Citation’, ‘The Man for the Job’ and, most recently, her performance in her stage debut in ‘Motherland the Musical’ shot her to Nollywood stardom and has positioned her as a formidable talent to watch from Africa.

Early life and education

Otedola was born 20 March 1996. She studied art history at the University College London. [4][5]

Career

Otedola made her Nollywood debut in Kunle Afolayan's 2020 film Citation.[6][7] Nominated for the best newcomer and outstanding performance at the National Film Awards ( UK )[8] , Winning Best Actress in a Leading Role at the 2021 Ghana Movie Awards for Citation, ⁣[9] and was nominated for Revelation of the Year at the 2020 Best of Nollywood Awards.[10] She also starred in The Man for the Job, a feature film written and directed by Niyi Akinmolayan[11] and in December 2022 Starred in the Nigerian Stage Play "Motherland The Musical"

Otedola has also collaborated with brands, including Versace[12], Boss, and Bamboo[13] , and in March 2024 was unveiled as Loreal Paris First ever African Digital Ambassador.[14] [15]

Personal life

Temi Otedola is DJ Cuppy and Tolani's younger sister and the last girl child of Nigerian businessman Femi Otedola. She is in a relationship with Nigerian singer Mr Eazi who hails from Rivers State, with whom she has a podcast named How Far with Mr. Eazi and Temi.[16][17] On 10 April 2022, she got engaged to Mr. Eazi.[18][1][19]
