Homeyl (Persian: حميل; pronounced [hoˈmejl])[a] is a city in, and the capital of, Homeyl District of Eslamabad-e Gharb County, Kermanshah province, Iran.[4] It also serves as the administrative center for Homeyl Rural District.[5]

At the 2006 census, its population was 1,303 in 306 households.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 1,363 people in 366 households.[7] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,317 people in 377 households.[2]
